1. Update my homepage

Every year I made a new year promiss - e.g. live more healty. This year I came up with some thing new, I wanted to make list I wish to accomplish in the comming year, in total 52 things todo. But I soon found out that it was difficult to build up the list, it stopped at 16... and I never published the list... until now (2006-06-27), I thought it fun even if it not complete.
Here is the list...

1. Make a list of 52 things todo ;-)
2. Get finished with the renovating of the appartment
3. Travel to a continent I have not been in before.

Yesterday, a nummer people asked me, what I would do with all my money, now I was a millionar. Apparently my name was mention on the national radio in Faroe Islands, in connection with launch of a webbased learning system, which I had developed.
They said that the development cost was over 1 million DDK. More information here and here

I was looking through a backup from the time I studied at Aalborg university, I found some of my old homepages. The final homepage is from 2003 and has a nice layout. This can not been said about fourth semester homepage. The fifth semester

The sixth semester

I off to the Faroe Islands on a well deserved 2 week vaction. I should be on my way rigth now, but the plane is a couple of hours late. This means that a will be late for my buddie Poul laust and Jóna's wedding, dammit... Next weekend I will go the the G! festival, main names are Europe and Nephew, I am exicited about this. It will the first time on a festival on Faroe Islands.

Some geek with a big calculator figured out - using advanced mathematical formulae - that this coming Monday is the day in the year when depression among people is at its greatest.

Naturally this nerd - for obvious reasons - didn't take post-weekend hangover into account!

The soon past year 2004 was a great year for me. I got a job (a very good one), i bought an appartment in the center of aalborg (it's fantastic), I meet alot new friend both in Denmark and abroad, and I had a realy good time with friends and famility this year.

I finally managed to get employed!!! I started 1st. april as a systems software developer in a company in Aalborg region. So it looks like i am stuck in Aalborg for the next couple of years. I really like the job, even though I don't get to work with digital signal processing or video deocding, which is my specialization.

I really want to travel this summer, the problem is all my friends havde other plans this summer, so maybe I have to travel alone. I am planning to get back to Faroe Islands for a couple of days, for Ólavsøka 30th july.

A couple of days ago my account at Aalborg University was removed. I can no longer check email or maintain my webpage(kom.auc.dk/~gunnleif) on the university webserver. It is also only a question of time when webpage will be removed. I will make a copy of these webpages on my own webserver, in the next couple weeks.
